the crane wives

Poster design and logo creation for indie folk rock band “The Crane Wives”. Original typeography system created using a series of shapes to create a new and original feel for the crane wives logo. Inspiration for this piece was built on art pieces from musicians of the same genre as well as vintage signage and posters for music festivals that had trended in the 1970’s. Winner of Tampa Bay American Advertising Awards (Silver).

Process

The logo was crafted from a kit of parts done through hand lettering and adobe illustrator.
