The Morning Post
As part of my senior thesis project in university, I wanted to build a brand around the concept of something many students away from home: the desire to reconnect with loved ones. The Morning Post is a whimsical idea built around having “breakfast” and “conversation” with someone far away. The visual aesthetic went through several art styles before ultimately settling on the most simplistic one resembling childish drawings and handwriting typography, which felt reflective of the brand’s central idea of reliving nostalgia for a time that has passed.
